13th September 2007. Business as usual.......we had a major fire
yesterday morning at 4.30am. Our rubbish bin was set on fire and it
caught the roof. We have lost all 6 of our consultation rooms. Our
contingency plans worked and we were seeing patients at 9.00am from
NEMS, our Out of Hours Centre on Derby Road. All prescriptions can be
collected as normal from Farndon Green Medical Centre. Surgeries will
continue at NEMS for at least a week, we are arranging portakabins etc
for Monday so we can continue surgeries and flu surgeries on site.
